This summer tune, starts off with a summer-like sounding synths. Rina comes in with the verses and lemme tell you I’m actually surprised at this song, it’s not like her first two singles. It’s actually backed out from that euro synth that she’s known for so far. It actually includes some actual instruments which is definitly something now. As for Rina’s vocals, well I don’t think she’s strong enough for these exciting sounds. The middle there’s some guy singing and some odd noises which actually turned me off a bit but Rina saves it!! Ohh! this song is definitly the summer tune.
2. purple haze
The B-side for this single starts a bit more quiet but here we are introduced back to the beats we know and love. I’m finding myself a little bored in this song. i mean Rina’s voice is a bit stronger but I’m losing interest through it. I do like how she tackles the 2nd verse, I’m actually getting more used to it everytime I listen but still lacks something I can’t point out right now. Oh well.
Ohh! Paradise Taste!! is definitly Rina’s summer single. Though I’m not sure it’s what we wanted from her at the time, it’s definitly fitting at the time. Purple haze is definitly B-side material which is not a surprise
