1. Kojin Jugyou
School song? Well it starts with some kids and the Japanese school bell sound, then this synthed voice comes in. The guitars start blaring. misono comes yelling the verse which was pretty powerful too. Luckily this is the full version. The album version is set in a medley with a bunch of other Finger 5 songs. So, this is where you can only hear the full version.
2. pinkies
A lot more mellow, pinkies is a pop/rock ballad. Misono’s voice is nice in this song, but she uses too much vibrato still. When she hits the chorus, the guitar is very powerful and makes misono make herself louder. Still, it’s a first in her career to have a power ballad so this is a new, nice change.
As if “VS” wasn’t good enough she brings out “Kojin Jugyou” which is a very different single all it’s own. The title track is a great rock track, still it sucks they had to mesh it up in the medley. pinkies also shows up on the album right after the medley and is a great listen. Is it worth buying? Nah, unless you really like misono or want the full version of Kojin Jugyou.
