1. Powder
Uhm, So this is the intro to the album, it’s very beat oriented and Misono’s voice is kinda held back. ~Let’s Go to the Neverland~ finsihes the song up and we go straight into our next track.
2. Lovely♥Cat’s Eye ~Neko wa Kotatsu de Maruku Naranai no Maki~
I really don’t know the difference between the single/here. Still this is a very kickass rock song. Misono’s is perfection in this tune and letting loose. Though I know it’s a song but I hear cats….the oddest thing in a rock song is kittens….W/E. Still a very good choice as the 1st full song!
3. Speedrive
We calm down to the slighty less rock song, Speedrive. I still think it was a poor song, since it really doesn’t capture the feeling of driving or speed, IMO. The brass instruments did help the song bring more life into it, but in the end it just became stale for me. Oh. Well.
4. A.___
So we get even more slower with the ballad Answer. Well, I’m still disappointed that “Hot Time” wasn’t on the album. I actually think it’s got a longing feeling after hearing it many times. She seems to be sad/depressed. I do like how epic the song gets at some points of the song. Pretty good ballad. Don’t worry either about the title, there’s no changes in the song…just the drop of the title.
5. Ari to Kirigirisu ~10 years later~
Rock on Misono! This song brings the pace back up with Ari to Kirigirisu. A very strong rock track featuring almost garage band sounds and some miniscule synth playing, which make this track sound complete. The chorus does sound a bit weird though. Even with that one flaw, this track is great. Still, what’s with that censored bleep?
6. Suna no Shiro no Mermaid ~Riku to Umi no Sekai~
Welcome to our 1st new track off the album. It’s kinda of a rock ballad. I kinda found myself bored in the track. It’s kinda catchy in the chorus, but I’m just like feeling sleepy to the track. The acoustic guitar does sound pretty good, but the arrangement is definitly a very boring one. I do like how messed up the guitar solo is though. Not the best from Misono.
7. Kodomo no Jijou > Otona no Shijou 2
Oooooo, a funky rock tune. I kinda like how the song flows within Misono’s vocals, it’s something we haven’t encountered with her yet. The chorus is kinda hard to pinpoint exactly, but it’s very interesting. Misono is definitly pushing her limits with them high notes. Late in the song it enters a quiet zone and Misono ad-libs and it’s so smooth and eerie at the same time before reentering the chorus…This song is probably the best new song on the album.
8. Glass no Kutsu
Ahhhh, why did this song have to appear on the album. The piano beginning does sound alright, before Misono comes in with her nasally vocals. Usually I’m used to them but in this song it drives me crazy. There’s some ballads she can do but this is not one of them. I do like the middle of the song where the bass drum gets to be in the front. Other than that, I didn’t like this song.
9. VS
Here we are with her damn catchy tune VS. I say this because OMG the synth played is so cool and definitly catchy with the guitar. I definitly didn’t expect such a strong single from her. Misono’s vocals is definitly at a good strong point all over in the song. One of her best songs IMO.
10. Finger 5 Medley
- Kojin Jugyou
- Koi no Dial 6700
- Gakuen Tengoku
- Koi no Daiyogen
So here we start off with the awesome Kojin Jugyou and we go through the 1st verse, the chorus and 2nd verse and chorus. Then we strive off into Koi no Dial 6700 where she ~ni, ni’s into it. This song actually is pretty dang cool. She sounds powerful in this part of the song also. The change in Gakuen Tengoku is almost priceless where she says ~Are You Ready~. Gakuen Tengoku is actually a little more lighthearted then the previous two songs. I think it’s a pretty fun song she should’ve done. The change to Koi wo Daiyogen was strange, and even then Koi wo Daiyogen is a very odd song too with many different drum sounds you’d think she’s changing songs rapidly…nope! Then we fly straight back into Kojin Jugyou to finish up the song. I still rather have the full Kojin Jugyou, but the medley was definitly a treat!
11. pinkies
Strong rock ballad. I’m not sure it should’ve had all that guitar though, but the strings and arrangement sounds pretty nice, I guess what I’m saying is that there shouldn’t have been any guitar at all. It just destroyed the nice soft sound. I guess it’s alright but other than that…not so good.
12. Re:
Now this is the ballad I wanted! Why did it have to be the final song? Anyways Re: sounds pretty with just piano and Misono singing along. There are sounds or bells which is a great touch to the tune. I swear some of the notes made her sound like her sis Koda Kumi which is very cool. Very nice way to end up the album.

Lovely♥Cat’s Eye ~Neko wa Kotatsu de Maruku Naranai no Maki~
Hey, well this album only really had 4 new songs….that’s depressing to know that the rest of the album was either singles, b-sides, or a medley though it was pretty cool. Still it’s a pretty good album, though she needs to work on her ballad skills. After the breakup with day after tomorrow, she’s gotten some flak about it but I think she’s great no matter what.
