  2. Sakura Modern
  3. Ashita e no Sanka (Instrumental)
  4. Sakura Modern (Instrumental)

1. Ashita e no Sanka

Everyone who knows me knows that I’m not entirely fond of ballads but damn is this pretty.  Using traditional Chinese sounds took me by surprise.  alan’s voice also fits with the calm atmosphere the song is producing.  Then she gets in this strong yell and twists her voice so good, she’s definitly an artist to watch for especially with her voice at that caliber, it’s definitly a strong sound.  LOVE IT!

2. Sakura Modern

The calm sound of water starts the B-side off and with some traditional japanese strings we get into the song where gets a beat?  Wow, the song sounds like a nice lullaby to me in the verses.  I can see why they made it modern.  It does have a sound like it was todays sound mixed with past elements.  A nice touch from alan.  Though she doesn’t do her yell, that is ok.

alan’s 1st debut…wow, that’s all I can say.  Ashita e no Sanka was beautifully written and showed off her skills in a soothing way.  The B-side being a little more upbeat sounded pretty good and proved to be a good B-side.

redfraction

Track Listing

  1. Red fraction
  2. Red fraction (instrumental)
  3. Red fraction (G.M.S. remix)

1. Red fraction

Talk about a dark debut.  When a song has a dark beat and so catchy, it’s considered awesome in my book.  MELL is actually speaking English the entire song.  She does have some pronunciation issues, but with all the angry lyrics, it’s bound to happen.  To me she reminds me of a hardcore Tsukiko perhaps?  The song is different from many of the songs I’ve heard.  It’s quite new to me.  What a debut track. Best line of the song is ~You made a mess, For Christ sake, this rotten world.  Shit out of luck. Go with my vision, light up the fire, right on the power.  Weapon…I have it all~  Friggin cool

2. Red fraction (G.M.S. remix)

They took the song gave a trance sound and sounds so cool.  The beat is aggressive and the song sounds more robotic and cybernetic it’s definitly another worthy remix.  MELL sounds sexed up this time, which blew me away.  This remix is definitly a great one I’ve heard in a while.

MELL’s first single definitly was awesome.  Red fraction has become a lot of people’s favorite song from her today and I can see why.  The remix was just as good too having a great sense of trance.  Definitly worth checking out.  Funny that it won’t be until practically a year later til we see a new single from the “MELLSCOPE” era.

So yea once again featuring two more artists.

alan

Everyone seems to be featuring this chinese native singer.  To be honest I actually am interested in the 5 Elements phase that she’s currently going through…Obviously I’ll start with “Ashita e no Sanka”

MELL

Odd artist I know, but I like her debut album “MELLSCOPE” starting off with this single “Red fraction”
