1. Ashita e no Sanka
Everyone who knows me knows that I’m not entirely fond of ballads but damn is this pretty. Using traditional Chinese sounds took me by surprise. alan’s voice also fits with the calm atmosphere the song is producing. Then she gets in this strong yell and twists her voice so good, she’s definitly an artist to watch for especially with her voice at that caliber, it’s definitly a strong sound. LOVE IT!
2. Sakura Modern
The calm sound of water starts the B-side off and with some traditional japanese strings we get into the song where gets a beat? Wow, the song sounds like a nice lullaby to me in the verses. I can see why they made it modern. It does have a sound like it was todays sound mixed with past elements. A nice touch from alan. Though she doesn’t do her yell, that is ok.
alan’s 1st debut…wow, that’s all I can say. Ashita e no Sanka was beautifully written and showed off her skills in a soothing way. The B-side being a little more upbeat sounded pretty good and proved to be a good B-side.
