  3. TABOO  -HOUSE NATION Sunset In Ibiza Remix-
  4. TABOO -Instrumental-
  5. Always -Instrumental-

1. TABOO

Thank friggin god, for Kumi’s glorious sex appeal.  After the confusing idea of “MOON” she returns with this downright dirty track.  TABOO does seem very like a combination of “BUT” and “FREAKY” which is great since both songs were both really good as well.  Then again the music is something to fan over because it sounds like a lot of Timbaland’s work.  Kumi is also under some vocoder which is pretty interesting and she sounds quite good everywhere else.  A great dance track overall.

2. Always

Always would be the underside of the single.  It sounds like another familiar B-side, “Dear Family” anyone?  I mean it’s more of your acoustic driven pop song and while Kumi does sound great, the familiarity of the song really created this whole bored feeling.  I guess you can’t really have 2 dirty tracks huh?

3. TABOO -HOUSE NATION In Ibiza Remix-

Ibiza, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a while.  Mostly known for the dance music it brings.  The song sounds more or less compicated as a whole.  There’s a drive to the song that did make it stand out from the original.  The beat and the other instrumentation was probably its biggest asset.  Though I’m still more fond of the regular, this was a nice remix.

TABOO is way more better than her last single, “MOON”.  TABOO brought back the sexiiness that was missing since that whole controversial issue.  She really brought out the weapons and it so worked this might be the best dance track of the year.  Always came as a disappointment because it just was like her other pop love tracks and the remix was a nice change up, even though it didn’t really change the formula.  TABOO was a nice return though!
