Oh boy, It’s one thing to ripoff Ayu, but then changing into electropop is just distasteful, just like what Masami did here. Since I am a big fan of the electropop scene, Robotics does nothing for me. I mean it does sound like that Perfume or Aira would’ve tried, but thank god they didn’t because the song is just too plain for me. I mean you have the synchopated rhythms and the vocoder/auto-tune combination, but damn it’s highly repetitive and Masami did nothing to sound a bit interested.
I’m sorry but Masami’s first single in her new style is just way meh for me. I think she’s better off ripping Ayu off…maybe it’s a one time deal thing perhaps? Either way, she needs to find something that’ll actually help her out…
