  3. Sailing my life (instrumental)
  4. Air (instrumental)

1. Sailing my life

I don’t know but Ayaka H has been recently giving us not many good things recently but I guess she wanted to spice things up by having a collaboration.  Actually, right from the beginning, the ethereal arrangement felt rather fresh after her meh singles.  Ayaka and Norimasa sound really nice together and give a good performance overall as well.  Even though it’s a ballad and god knows that Ayaka is chock full of them.

2. Air

The B-side, Air which is also another collaborative song, is a bit more simpler than “Sailing my life” but it’s still a really pretty song.  I really like how Ayaka and Norimasa play around each other in the verses and with the seperate harmonies, it’s kind of intriguing.  It might be a little too simple, but vocally is impressive.

So this single really got my hopes up for Ayaka again.  Her duet with Norimasa really was pretty and both songs really showed off their vocals in a very good way.  I wonder if they’ll do it again.
