Be Like That
Be Like That (instrumental)
Why does it seem like that whenever Meisa releases a single, it kind of turns out kind of disappointing whereas when she releases a mini-album there’s something amazing? LOL! is kind of alright when Meisa is singing, but her pseudo-rapping skills lack interest and it kind of ruins the song. Add the fact that the chorus sounds really familiar doesn’t help at all! I don’t know but I think I prefer “5 -FIVE-” over this song.
2. Be Like That
At least the B-side of the single sort of makes up for the disappointing A-side. Now I do think the arrangement is a little bare bones and the direction doesn’t exactly go anywhere, but vocally it’s better. I’m not sure why, but the chorus isn’t the most expressive either and it just flies by my head, but at least it’s a song I wouldn’t pass up.
Could you imagine an album with Meisa? I don’t think I’ve fully enjoyed a Meisa A-side ever since she debuted. I mean there’s just no reason why they can’t sprinkle magic that they did with the two mini-albums for her singles because LOL! is just meh to me.
