1. BLOOD on FIRE
I still think this is their best song I’ve heard so far. Definitly a hard eurobeat song with some hardcore lyrics. ~Get back, your too hot!~ I mean this is one of the hardest dance tracks I heard from avex as of recently. Got to give props on Urata for sounding so damn cool here.
2. DRAGON FIRE
What ended the era on a pretty good note was DRAGON FIRE. It still isn’t hard as the first track, but it’s got some pretty smooth lyrics and it sounds really nice. Adding a brass section gave a more diverse sound from the rest of the A-side’s of the era. Gotta give creds to this cool track.
3. Welcome to This World
Then, we hit a new with this really bubblegum pop song. I mean even “Friday Party” wasn’t as corny as this song. You can really tell this is an avex track just by the sound. Lot of synths then underline everyone. Still, I think this would’ve been the summery/pop song.
4. Taiyou
Luckily we fix the problem with the next cool song, Taiyou. There’s actually strings opening the song and Urata leading the track off. There’s some pretty cool rhythms and the song has a pretty cool wide sound that fills your ears. It might not be “BLOOD on FIRE” but it’s great on its own for sure.
5. Kirei na Sora
Weird, that Kirei na Sora is the more jazzy track of the album, which is amazing in its own right. Shows that they are a very diverse group. Even Mitsuhiro’s rapping is nice and calm. I still kind of cringe during Misako’s rapping part, but I’ve grown to enjoy the nice jazz sound and I still think this would’ve been perfect for FFX-2
6. Saikyou Babe
Knowing that motsu from m.o.v.e was one of the people who produced the track was cool, but Saikyou Babe seems a little too much. There’s way too many things going on at once and the music is frantic and crazy, add in Mitsuhiro’s part and you get a wild latin track. I’m not fully into it, but it’s enough that I can listen to it.
7. Get or Lose
First time that the girls lead off the track. I got to say they sound really awesome, well until the yelling happens, but all three ladies sounds amazing in their own way. The guys practically don’t exist here which is just so damn funny. Still this was the better latin-infused track.
8. Deai no Chikara
Finally taking a nice break from the more upbeat stuff, is Deai no Chikara, a kind of song to just sway too. It’s a little upbeat, but not to where as it’s in the league of the previous tracks. Everyone is harmonizing nicely and Mitsuhiro isn’t rapping here which is great. It’s your token love song though, so it had to happen.
9. Friday Party
Definitly the weakest A-side of the era is near the end of the album and to be honest, to put it after “Deai no Chikara” is a little strange. It seemed a few of the singers were uncomfortable singing here and caused some sour notes and nasally sounds. It can be catchy, but other times seems to just be annoying to hear.
10. VIRGIN F
motsu also produced VIRGIN F as well and seemed a lot more like a sexy track. I love how Urata did the ~kiss kiss~ part, that was just golden. Sadly, this song isn’t too memorable, but is good when listened to it on its own and not with the album. I wonder if motsu was in the song too…hmmm.
11. Chikyuu ni Idakarete
Great, we get another cheesy pop track. Seriously lay off this genre AAA, it’s very sad to listen to. Urata though you are loud here which is a nice surprise, but Misako should take some vocal lessons to not sound so amazingly nasally. Even the rap part was so awkward….
12. Bokura no Te
A more soft R&B sound fills the last tracks overall sound and it actually sounds smooth and calm. This was a great way to finish up an album and everyone sounds even sweet and smooth. Great finisher.

Deai no Chikara
This album was one of those hit and miss albums. Like I was hoping for more “BoF” songs, but what I was surprised was the diverse sound this album actually had. Sadly, there wasn’t exactly a lot of good tracks though. Some were just poor choices for music and some were vocal issues. I guess it’s an alright debut album.
