Negai no Shirushi
Negai no Shirushi -Inst ver.-
1. Negai no Shirushi
Negai no Shirushi definitely throws me back to the “Griotte no Nemuri Hime” album because it’s got that effervescent kind of sound for it. You know what I mean, string chords up the woozy with a rather light folkish sound as well. I do like the plucked strings that appear throughout the song. Haruka sounds so much better when she isn’t trying to be highly cutesy. Very surprising indeed and I ended up liking this ballad.
I was surprised that there was a single announced for her this release week. I guess it doesn’t help that the single was an indies release unlike “Kimi to no Tabiji” which was a major release. Negai no Shirushi is a very pretty song to listen to and while it’s simple, its intricicies make up a whole lot. Though, I kind wanted a B-side, but I’ll live.
