1. Kokoro ni Todoku Uta
If Lia has permanently changed over for a more folkish sound ala Haruka Shimotsuki, Kokoro ni Todoku Uta would definitely fit either artists since both have the right vocals for it. The jolly arrangement is anot much of a surprise after her last single, “kizunairo”, but it’s a lot more festive and colorful and for that deal, it’s a great A-side from Lia.
2. WHITE and SHADOW ~Mugen no Rinbu~
As the single’s B-side, WHITE and SHADOW kind of still has that small folkish sound going on, but the music is much more quieter and more along the lines of a ballad, but with Lia’s pretty strong vocals. Sometimes her vibrato does hinder her on the scale of things, but for such a quiet song, it’s very pretty and made for a good B-side.
As the 4th/5th (depends on who you’re asking), Kokoro ni Todoku Uta is a pretty good single overall. The title song is very much like a peppier and more exciting version of “kizunairo” and I liked that she stepped it up after that while WHITE and SHADOW was a much more stronger song and B-side than the last few she released. Though with the Veil title, it makes me wonder what that exactly is….a character? Or something entirely different?
