To be honest, I was waiting for a new “Yumemiru 15sai” for a long time and I’m super happy to hear that Suki yo would follow closely behind being a little more serious and danceable. However, I’m loving that Rinapuu and Kanana have a buttload more lines than before which FINALLY shows a bit of equal line distribution. It’s a really cool song from them and it’s been a long time coming from them.

Isn’t it a little too early to be covering °C-ute’s recent single? I don’t know why but since the song is used for the horror movie S/mileage is in, I feel even more baffled to see this being covered (moreso of the fact that it’s the only B-side present as well). Also it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen S/mileage (as in the group) do a ballad. Of course the girls are higher-pitched which makes the song have a cuter feel but somehow I feel like it’s a smidge better than the original? Maybe it’s the youthful vocals, but I liked it.
Wow, for being a smaller single (no original B-side this time), Suki yo, Junjou Hankouki. is actually a surprisingly good single. I really love the A-side and the power of the song stood out (they should stick with this more often). Their °C-ute cover was good too, but a little surprising because the original was so recent. Strong single overall!
