Tabidachi no Haru ga Kita
Tabidachi no Haru ga Kita (Instrumental)
1. Tabidachi no Haru ga Kita
I don’t know why but this intro was pretty cool, but once the girls start to sing, the song kind of drags itself down to a spring H!P B-side (it really does remind me of many songs). The song still has DAWA and Kanyon taking leads but Meimi and Takechan taking secondary while Rinapuu and Kanana get the least amount of lines. To be honest, the song doesn’t really strike me as anything special, but it’s not bad persay.
The B-side brings S/mileage into electro zone like C-ute, Momusu, and Berryz have been recently dabbling in, but luckily they kind of escape the auto-tune (well slightly), but there’s a lot of echoing. It’s a very cool song for them and ranks high alongside “Suki yo, Junjou Hankouki. and “Yumemiru 15sai” which means it’s a pretty awesome song. I will say it oddly reminds me of C-ute’s upcoming A-side “Crazy Kanzen na Otona”. Still this a song I can get really behind.
S/mileage in recent times feels like they’re being left in the dust in H!P considering they went back to just only two songs on a single. Tabidachi no Haru ga Kita is OK, but there’s definitely better A-sides out there. However, Doushiyou is definitely a song to check out because while it’s definitely following the electro train Tsunku has been loving recently, it was awesome!!! I still can’t believe their sophomore album hasn’t been announced yet.
