Koi Oto to Amazora
Koi Oto to Amazora (Instrumental)
1. Koi Oto to Amazora
After the kind of wavy era, the group has had, I was surprised they’d announce a 5th single, but whatever lol. Koi Oto to Amazora slows down things after “Love Is In The Air” which places it as a slow jam of a song and kind of places itself next to “Miss you” in the whole mid-tempo slow jam. Though this song is a bit more upbeat but not by a big margin. Sadly, the song doesn’t really resonate with me much besidessome of the synthwork of the arrangement. Was it necessary?
As the only B-side that will not be present on their upcoming album, “Eighth Wonder”, I was wondering why MASK was left off and was more curious to what it’d be like. I’m actually sad that it won’t make it because this is a heavy track. I don’t think they’ve done a mix of synths and guitars since “ZERO” and that’s saying something! It’s definitely a much better song than the leading track and like the other B-sides, the line distribution is great! Still wonder why it’s being left off, but really…we’ll get to that.
As the 5th and final single released before their 8th album, “Eighth Wonder” releases, I found Koi Oto to Amazora to be such an unneeded release just for the fact of what the album tracklist looks like. ONLY ONE song is new on the album while the rest have been from the singles. I’m already seeing myself being disappointed in the album. About the single now, Koi Oto to Amazora is a rather unimpressive song as an A-side while MASK is just in your face and surprisingly really catchy! It’s a 50/50 single for me.
