  2. Nakimushi・Yowamushi
  3. Hajimete no Keiken (Instrumental)

1. Hajimete no Keiken

I was kind of elated when I first heard Hajimete no Keiken because it isn’t a boring ballad, but more of a happy-go-lucky track.  There’s a lot of new things I’m hearing, which is mostly the strings.  I mean of course they were present, but wasn’t so important as it is here.  Manoeri’s piano playing is just as cute and such.  The only thing I was annoyed is the verses because she repeats a word three times through the whole time…it wasn’t very tasteful.  Still, it is better than “Manopiano” and “LaLaLa-SoSoSo”.

2. Nakimushi・Yowamushi

Haven’t we seen Yowamushi somewhere before?  Oh yea, Momosu.  Well, it’s not a cover and it’s definitly something different for Manoeri, sadly it’s not much to me.  Manoeri is sadly very monotone throughout the song and even though it’s got some rock touches, it kind of fails because the song just doesn’t do anything for me despite the new sound she brought.

So here’s her second major label single and it was alright, but “Otome no Inori” was overall a better single.  I did like Hajimete no Keiken with it’s more happier sound and it wasn’t a ballad.  Nakimushi though just was too boring for me, but I’m pretty sure there’ll be people that’ll like it.

lalalasososo

Track Listing

  1. LaLaLa-SoSoSo
  2. LaLaLa-SoSoSo (Instrumental)

1. LaLaLa-SoSoSo

LaLaLa-SoSoSo differs from the last two singles basically by being a nice upbeat song.  Though I’m noticing that Mano is depending on the chorus to pass her by because “Lucky Aura” was a pretty repetitive song when you really looked at it.  LaLaLa-SoSoSo definitly falls into that category, but since the song is slower than the former, it makes things a lot worse.  Not my kind of song.

Thank god this is Manoeri’s final indies produced single.  This has to be my least favorite of the 3 indies just because it was a little too boring and the chorus was just plain annoying.  I still like the piano playing, but I rather have her stick with something more upbeat.

1. Lucky Aura

This song is definitly one of my favorite songs of Mano’s.  Instead of a ballad track she decided to take a risk with an other mid-tempo electropop track.  Honestly, this song could’ve been perfect for the GUNDAM series.  Mano’s vocals also have gotten better since “Manopiano” which is great.  She still has sour moments, but this song is just what she needed to get herself out there.

Lucky Aura should’ve had a B-side, but given that this was the only track on the single, it’ll do because the song a great track from her and she should definitly put this on her debut album once it’s announced of course.  I imagine the instrumental is really good as well.  Very good single all-around.

manopiano1

Track Listing

  1. Manopiano
  2. Manopiano (Instrumental)

1. Manopiano

What sets Manoeri from the rest of the H!P company is that she actually plays piano with her music.  That being said, Manopiano was a pretty way to start her career off.  Her vocals can be a little too flat for a song like this, but she’s got some perserverence and her piano playing is really nice and calm.

Mano’s debut single showed off her talents pretty well, but she needs to excite me more because this sounded almost too typical and short for Manopiano.  Things could’ve been worked on and she could’ve sung a little better, but for her to push herself as the only current solo singer this was a thing H!P really needed to do.
