1. Chikai

Another single that’s really just one song?  I guess it’s not a bad choice to go since Chikai is quite the 180 twist after their last single “JIDAISHIN”.  This track could be considered more of a slower-paced kind of rock track, but I like it because it showcases both Van’s light and edgy vocals in the same time.  I kind of enjoyed listening to this song since it doesn’t really try to force something on the listener and trust me some of their past singles have kind of felt that way…especially that last one.

 

 

*Don’t know if the lives leaked but yeah…*  Chikai as the second in the row of one song singles (Ok, maybe the DAI version is an exception, but still…) I think Chikai made a good opposite to “JIDAISHIN” since that song was wild and crazy while this was more serious and kept together.  Luckily it’s just these two singles since their next one, “Ariadne no Ito” has a B-side to it!  OH! and it’s great way to begin an era too!
